Flight simulator

I use Prepar3D version 3.x as my flight simulator software, enhanced with a lot of addons.

Some of the addons I use:

ORBX Global - texture enhancement.
ORBX OpenLC Europe - landclass enhancement.
Ultimate Terrain X Europe V2.0 - detail enhancement.
A lot of detailed airports from different suppliers.
MyTraffic - AI traffic.
Active Sky Next - real weather.
And a lot off other products.

Cockpit software

To be able to build a B737 cockpit you need software that emulates all the systems. I use the ProSim software suite enhanced with ProSimUtils, together with their 'ProSim737 Flight Model'.
